It's been an awful long time since I've had to debug an Exchange server, but I can see this being useful next time I do.

Portable GIS
http://www.archaeogeek.com/blog/portable-gis/
Might be nice to show off to closed-source GIS geeks, but doesn't really cover the sort of things I'd like to show.

Slow Progress
http://reluctantbooks.wordpress.com/2009/07/02/slow-progress/
A bunch more sales over the weekend, and then nothing. I’ve listed most of the books I think are going to sell at any profit on Amazon now, all 250 of them, and we still make a small loss on every other book or so. Making a loss on the odd book or two isn’t an issue, the lack of sales is. We have spoken about market stalls or car boot sales, but they both come with problems. A market stall would require an imense amount of commitment shifting the books around and manning the store, plus paperwork and organisation. A car boot sale would require less commitment, but to shift fewer books and would mean getting up early on a Sunday; it might also mean sharing the stall with a homophobic idiot in order to reduce costs.

The EveryBlock source code

Ugh, Python. Still, it's great it's been opensourced - if only I had the time to start working on it.

The Great Internet Migratory Box Of Electronics Junk is a progressive lending library of electronic components. An internet meme in physical form halfway between P2P zip-archive sharing and a flea market. It arrives full of wonderful (and possibly useless) components, but you will surely find some treasures to keep. You will be inspired look through your own piles, such as they are, and find more mysterious components that clearly need to be donated to the box before it is passed on again.

man_made=wastewater_plant
http://www.openstreetmap.org/user/kaerast/diary/6894
Shouldn't man_made=wastewater_plant render now? There was a trac ticket and subsequent changeset, so surely it should render now?
Only it isn't rendering the big Esholt plant, and I'm not sure if something is broken. There are both areas and nodes tagged as wastewater_plant here, so something should appear. It looks wrong having it all missing.

Unblockable, Anonymous, Encrypted Mobile Internet Access - ChallengePost

Shouldn't be too hard for somebody with the necessary skills, if I had the time I'd be up for forming a group of developers to work on this.

Converting MS Word to WikiText
http://www.uchi.dk/~truelsen/doc2wiki.php
Well it nearly works, and needs changing for different wiki markup languages, but it's a start. You may find yourself having to fix the xml file it generates half-way though manually - xmllint will assist in finding why it is broken.
